A click-free aperture switch, located on the lens barrel next to the aperture control ring, allows users to easily switch between smooth and clicky operation, making this prime lens ideal for both videography and photography.

The Simera 35mm ASPH Type II has been ergonomically designed with a comfortable focus tab, enabling smooth, one-finger focusing for effortless handling.

Low Chromatic Aberration

The Simera 35mm f/1.4 features one aspherical element and three high refractive index elements to reduce chromatic aberration and improve image quality.

Smooth Bokeh and Excellent Low-Light Performance

Thanks to its ability to capture images with a bright f/1.4 aperture, high image quality is guaranteed even in challenging lighting conditions. The lens's 14-blade diaphragm creates a circular bokeh that provides a smooth and pleasing framing of the subject, which is especially useful for portraits. When shooting close-up subjects, a minimum focusing distance of 45 cm is available.

Resistance Warning

When rotating up to 0.7 m, you will feel resistance, which warns you that the lens's focusing distance is about to exceed the camera body's limit.
