STANDARD OR COMPLETE
The BLACK ARM comes in two versions. The BLACK ARM Standard is made to work with gimbals and cameras weighing between 5-13kg (11-28lbs). The BLACK ARM Full is for users working with higher loads and weighing between 5-32kg (11-70lbs). Of course, you have the option to upgrade from the standard version to a full version, if needed.
The BLACK ARM is shipped with two 7.0mm springs, which carries the 5-13kg. The COMPLETE is shipped with four 7.0mm springs and four 7.5mm springs, which carries the entire 5-32kg range. You can use the springs in single (one spring on each side) or dual (two springs on each side) configuration, to precisely achieve the required lift.
The damping action of all axes, vertical, pitch and roll, is created by custom-made hydraulic actuator dampers that are fully adjustable. Damping is adjusted with a knob that has 22 steps, to precisely dial in the exact amount of damping you need for your plane. The BLACK ARM Standard ships with one damper for each of the three axes, while the Complete ships with a total of six dampers, allowing you to have dual dampers on each axis if needed, or as spares.
ANTI-VIBRATION MOUNTS (SOLD SEPARATELY)
Each BLACK ARM is shipped with an Antivibration Mount (AVM). The primary purpose of the AVM is to reduce high frequency vibrations, such as car engine noise. To maximize the efficiency of the AVM, you should use the version that fits your load and conditions.
There are two types of AVMs, the original Wire AVMs and the new Tranquilizer.
The Wire AVMs come in five different weight ranges, and are very easy to use. Just put on the correct AVM and you're ready to go.
The Tranquilizer has many settings to fine tune its performance, and can give better results if you have the time and skill to set it up correctly.
Pick the one that matches the total weight of everything (gimbal, camera and accessories) and you'll be hanging on to the black arm.

The Tranquilizer is shipped with two sets, the Shore 30 and Shore 40. All other packages are sold separately.

- Shore 40 weight range from 11.25 - 22.50kg.

FLIGHT CASE
The BLACK ARM is shipped in a Pro case. It is manufactured in black, to perfectly match the BLACK ARM. It has powder coated black metal corners, heavy duty recessed handles and butterfly latches. It also has wheels, so you can roll the case around like a travel suitcase. To match the clean exterior, the Pro case's foam is all black.
MOUNTING OPTIONS
Mounting the BLACK ARM is as simple as attaching it to a standard 48-52mm Speed Rail. You build a rig on your vehicle, using standard grip components such as the speed rail and double clamps, possibly using the Flowcine Universal bracket or Stub mount. Then you simply clamp the BLACK ARM there, with the two single clamps on the back of the arm.
There are several ways to attach the gimbal to the BLACK ARM. The included base plate has a hole pattern to match the Freefly Toad in one hole and a Cinemilled Universal Ronin mount for easy attachment of MoVI and Ronin gimbals. We also make a female Mitchell mount for gimbals using the Mitchell connector.
On each side of the BLACK ARMs head, there are cheese plates suitable for mounting batteries or Kenyon gimbals.

El BLACK ARM viene en dos versiones. El BLACK ARM Estándar está hecho para trabajar con Gimbals y cámaras con un peso entre 5-13kg (11-28lbs). El BLACK ARM Completo es para usuarios que trabajan con cargas más altas y que pesan entre 5-32kg (11-70lbs). Por supuesto, tiene la opción de actualizar la versión estándar a una completa, si es necesario.
El BLACK ARM se envía con dos resortes de 7.0mm, que lleva los 5-13kg. El Completo se envía con cuatro muelles de 7.0mm y cuatro muelles de 7.5mm, que lleva todo el rango de 5-32kg. Puede utilizar los muelles en configuración simple (un muelle a cada lado) o dual (dos muelles a cada lado), para lograr con precisión la elevación necesaria.
La acción de amortiguación de todos los ejes, vertical, inclinación y balanceo es creada por amortiguadores hidráulicos de actuadores hechos a medida que son totalmente ajustables. Se ajusta la amortiguación con una perilla que tiene 22 pasos, para marcar con precisión la cantidad exacta de amortiguación que necesita para su plano. El BLACK ARM Estándar se envía con un amortiguador para cada uno de los tres ejes, mientras que el Completo se envía con un total de seis amortiguadores, lo que permite tener amortiguadores dobles en cada eje si es necesario, o como repuestos.
MONTAJES ANTI-VIBRACIÓN (SE VENDEN POR SEPARADO)
Cada BLACK ARM se envía con una montura anti-vibración (Antivibration Mount o AVM en adelante). El propósito principal de la AVM es reducir las vibraciones de alta frecuencia, como el ruido del motor de un coche. Para maximizar la eficiencia del AVM, debes utilizar la versión que se ajuste a tu carga y condiciones.
Hay dos tipos de AVM, los Wire AVM originales y el nuevo Tranquilizer.
La Wire AVMs viene en cinco rangos de peso diferentes, y son muy fáciles de usar. Sólo tienes que poner el AVM correcto y listo.
El Tranquilizer tiene muchos ajustes para afinar su rendimiento, y puede dar mejores resultados si tienes el tiempo y la habilidad para configurarlo correctamente.
Escoge el que coincida con el peso total de todo (cardán, cámara y accesorios) y te aferrarás al brazo negro.

FLIGHT CASE
El BLACK ARM se envía en su maleta Pro case. Está fabricada en negro, para que coincida perfectamente con el BLACK ARM. Tiene esquinas de metal negro con recubrimiento de polvo, manijas empotradas de alta resistencia y cierres de mariposa. También tiene ruedas, para que puedas rodar la maleta como si fuera una maleta de viaje. Para hacer juego con el exterior limpio, la espuma del maletín Pro es toda negra.
OPCIONES DE MONTAJE
Montar el BLACK ARM es tan simple como sujetarlo a un Speed Rail estándar de 48-52 mm. Construyes un equipo en tu vehículo, usando componentes de agarre estándar como el speed rail y abrazaderas dobles, posiblemente usando el soporte Flowcine Universal o el montaje Stub. Luego simplemente se sujeta el BLACK ARM ahí, con las dos abrazaderas simples en la parte posterior del brazo.
Hay varias maneras de sujetar el cardán al BLACK ARM. La placa base incluida tiene un patrón de agujeros para que coincida con el Freefly Toad en un agujero y una montura Cinemilled Universal Ronin mount para una fácil fijación de los cardanes MoVI y ronin. También hacemos una montura hembra Mitchell para los Gimbals que usa el conector Mitchell.
A cada lado de la cabeza de los BLACK ARMs, hay cheese plates adecuadas para montar baterías o giroscopios Kenyon.
