The new Laowa 12mm T2.9 Zero-D lens is an ideal choice for professional cinema cameras and Canon mirrorless cameras, as it covers sensors up to Full Frame size and offers a 122-degree field of view. This ultra-wide lens has virtually zero distortion, making it a precise tool for cinematographers (DoP). The distortion is almost non-existent, reaching levels near "Zero-D," validated by many users worldwide.

Thanks to its image circle, the lens is not only compatible with Full Frame cameras but also fully covers Vista Vision sensors. It’s perfect for those needing to upgrade to large-format cameras and also for Super 35 camera owners, providing an ultra-wide equivalent field of view of 17mm.

Additionally, it is extremely compact and lightweight. It measures just 87mm in length and weighs less than 675g, making it easy to mount on stabilization systems, including handheld gimbals. The lens allows for extremely close focusing, from just 7" from the sensor (<4” from the front element) to infinity, ideal for creating a unique background blur (bokeh) with wide and shallow depth of field (DOF).

The lens mount is available in EF, PL, E, and RF options and includes a 114mm ring for matte box installation without causing vignetting
