ATOMOS GRABADOR SHOGUN CONNECT 7

Monitor, record and switch in the field with Atomos' 7″ 1920 x 1200 Shogun CONNECT 7 HDR Pro. This versatile on-camera recording monitor offers DCI 4K raw recording and HDMI and 12G-SDI inputs/outputs. With the AtomOS 10.4 firmware update, the Shogun CONNECT 7 offers ISO recording of up to two 12G-SDI camera streams plus program capture. Cast your content for the director or client to view in Dolby Vision HDR using the Shogun CONNECT 7, AtomOS10 platform and a compatible display.

This touchscreen monitor supports resolutions up to DCI 4K (4096 x 2160) at 60p and up to 2K at 240p for slow motion effects. Record to 2.5″ SSDs with Apple ProRes Raw, ProRes, CinemaDMG (up to 30p) and Avid DNxHD codecs. Record all the action at your event with live multi-camera monitoring, recording and switching between the show and up to four 1080p60 ISO SDI camera streams. When used with Final Cut Pro, a fully configurable multi-camera .xml can be generated for easy editing.

Supported Resolutions and Frame Rates

To save space and support longer recording, many cameras record 8-bit 4:2:0 compressed video internally. If the camera can output video over HDMI, quality can often be preserved in a 4:2:2 8-bit or 10-bit format. Shogun CONNECT can record more color information and immediately add value to your production with your existing camera equipment. Also, if you are recording Log footage, the ability to bypass internal compression will give you the best possible dynamic range. Shogun CONNECT is designed to maximize the quality of your videos and allow you to expand all aspects of your creative vision.

Shogun CONNECT also includes 12G-SDI input, the standard in high-end cinema cameras including Sony's FX series, Panasonic's EVA1 and Canon's EOS C series. The robustness and utility of SDI is critical to productions that depend on it. SDI RAW provides the best experience in terms of flexibility and quality, making Shogun CONNECT the ideal choice for big-budget filmmakers around the world.
