The PT2c 2-Light Amaran Amber Production Kit includes two 2-foot battery-powered pixel tubes. These tubes are part of amaran's first series of full-color LED pixel tubes. The Pixel Tube series is made up of 1 foot, 2 foot and 4 foot long tubes, all equipped with multiple Pixel FX effects, RGBWW color quality, Sidus Link app and DMX control, plus USB-C rechargeable batteries that are integrated into its elegant and slim design. The 2-Light Production Kit expands the capabilities of this versatile mid-size tool by providing double the light output and including mini floor tripods and USB-C to DMX adapters to expand creative possibilities and enhance functionality.

The PT2c offers greater control and color changing capabilities with 8 built-in pixels that can be adjusted independently via the Sidus Link app. In addition, it has 7 pre-programmed Pixel FX for a variety of situations, as well as 9 System FX effects.

This full-color light fixture uses RGBWW LED chips that provide exceptional color quality and accurate skin tones in a CCT range from 2700K to 10,000K, with full green-magenta control. This results in high CRI [95], TLCI [98] and SSI values in all conditions, with an SSI of 85 in tungsten illumination and an SSI of 75 in D56 illumination.

Within its sleek and compact T12 design, the PT2c incorporates an internal 38.5 Wh lithium-ion battery that provides up to 170 minutes of maximum power. Thanks to its universal USB-C port, the PT2c can be charged easily, even at a fast charging speed of 20W via USB-C PD, reaching its full capacity in less than 3 hours.

For easy mounting, each PT2c comes with two clear 3/8-16-inch threaded T12 magnetic mounts. These magnets allow you to attach the pixel tube to metal surfaces or use a 3/8-16 inch dowel or pin to mount it to a lighting stand. Transparent brackets ensure that mounting does not affect light quality or output.

Additionally, each PT2c end cap includes a 3/8-16-inch threaded mount, opening up a world of possibilities for configuring tubing into various three-dimensional shapes, as is done with the Amaran T2c/T4c.

The PT2c can be controlled via the user interface on the back of the tube, which features a modern interface, or via the Sidus Link Bluetooth app, which also controls other Aputure and amaran products. This versatile app lets you control all the lights in your scene, activate stunning lighting effects, and keep your Pixel Tubes always up to date. For more advanced DMX control, an XLR input and output DMX dongle with USB-C to 5-pin XLR cable is included, unlocking DMX control capability across the entire Pixel Tube product line, including amaran T2c/ T4c and F-Series.

Amaran's medium-sized Pixel Tube is a versatile solution that combines multiple functions, rechargeable battery, high color quality and a high transmittance diffuser that provides a wide 180° beam angle. This makes it an ideal choice for effects, fill, accents and much more. Finally, for additional lighting control, the 45º fabric light control grille further improves light quality.
