The Wooden Camera WiFi Side Plate (RED DSMC2) provides an external WiFi antenna mount for RED DSMC2 brains (Monstro, Helium, Gemini), Weapon, Epic-W, Scarlet-W, Raven and other DSMC2 cameras. It increases signal range with apps like FoolControl. It is not a repeater: it replaces the internal antenna altogether.

Installation

It attaches in place of the decorative right side panel and does not interfere with the Sidekick, the DSMC2 Side Handle or the cover plate included with the camera. Discontinued by the manufacturer. The manufacturer advises careful installation and not switching back and forth with the internal antenna many times.
