“Floating” doesn’t exactly sound secure, does it? If you’re worried about mounting several hundreds’ worth of gear to the Floating Top Plate, worry less. Once secured around the XLR handle, the support posts at the front and rear help stabilise the plate for even the shakiest of shaky-cam shots. And if you’re still worried about wobble, secure the Top Plate in place with the bolt-on – giving you extra peace of mind, as well as some more mounting options.
