The cmotion Cinefade VariND is the first easy-to-use, remotely controllable variable ND filter that offers multiple practical and creative applications.

The Cinefade VariND can not only be used as a practical tool to control exposure on set, but also as a narrative tool to accentuate certain moments and guide the viewer's attention and vary depth of field in filmed movies.

It wirelessly controls neutral density filters. It does this by means of 2 circular polarizing filters. One motorized polarizer and one static polarizer. When operating together, they provide a variable neutral density filter.

Note: cPRO lens control system is required to enable remote variable ND function, remote variable polarizer function or variable depth of field effect(Cinefade).

Cmotion's new Cinefade VariND consists of a motorized polarizer and a static polarizer.

When inserted together in a matte box, they form a variable ND filter that works as a stand-alone VariND or as a dynamically adjustable, remote-controlled variable ND filter for professional cinematographers.

The Cinefade VariND can be controlled remotely and allows cinematographers to maintain a constant exposure and T-stop in changing light conditions, for example, during an indoor-to-outdoor transition shot with Steadicam.

The Cmotion Cinefade VariND consists of a motorized polarizer and a static polarizer. Insert the motorized polarizer into a matte box by yourself and use it as a remote controllable rotating polarizer. It requires minimal mounting and allows maximum control with or without a cPRO lens control system.

Cinefade's RotaPola can be used to make reflections less distracting and unobtrusive, so that the car looks its best, for example when moving from the windshield to the side of the car.
