Description

The cmotion Cinefade Vari360 is a dual-polarizer filter system that lets you dial in a variable ND range from approximately ND 0.4 to ND 1.9+, all controlled remotely. By combining a static polarizer with a motorized polarizer and using a built-in three-axis gyro sensor, it automatically compensates for camera movement and maintains precise polarization angles. An OLED display (with stealth mode) shows filter density, and LBUS connectivity makes power and data daisy-chaining with other cmotion devices simple. In “VariND” mode the system works as a dynamically adjustable ND filter—perfect for keeping exposure constant while opening or closing the iris—while “RotaPola” mode turns the motorized element into a remote-controlled rotating polarizer for creative reflection control, light streak effects, or aerial/vehicle-mounted shots.
