The 36.7mm x 25.54mm image area covers full-frame sensors as well as 16:9 / 3:2 / 4:3 sensors, with easy delivery at 2:1 / 2.25:1 / 2.66:1 / 2.4:1.

In addition to the ease of supporting multiple delivery aspects, the Mercury Series' 1.5x optical design enables many of the visual characteristics image makers love from the traditional 2x cinemascope format (oval-oblong bokeh, barrel distortion, shallow depth field), while allowing a significant reduction in size and weight in the overall physical design of the product.

The Mercury series was launched with the 42mm, 36mm and 72mm models, and now the 54mm, 95mm and 138mm models have been launched, for a total of 6 focal lengths.
